Schedule Reporting and Analysis 

The dbi Staff Scheduler software includes the following schedules and analysis reports:


7 Day Schedule

The 7 Day Schedule Report prints a seven day calendar view of all schedule plan details with staff assigned within a 7-day time period as defined by a Schedule From date. The user has the option of generating the schedule for one selected department, or for all departments.  For each staff member assigned in a schedule plan the information contained in this report includes the scheduled start time and end time, department, position/task, and number of hours for each position/task assignment in each day.  The report also gives a total for the staff member for the 7-day period, and a total for each day, and 7-day period, for the report.

The 7 Day Schedule can be viewed on screen, sent to a printer, or saved as an HTML file to be published on the web or attached to an email for distribution.  To view a sample of a 7 Day Schedule, click here.

 

28 Day Schedule

The 28 Day Schedule Report prints a twenty-eight day calendar view of all schedule plan details with staff assigned within a 28-day time period as defined by a Schedule From date. The user has the option of generating the schedule for one selected department, or for all departments.  For each staff member assigned in a schedule plan the report details the scheduled start time and end time for each position/task within each day.

The 28 Day Schedule can be viewed on screen, sent to a printer, or saved as an HTML file to be published on the web or attached to an email for distribution.  To view a sample of a 28 Day Schedule, click here.

 

Individual Staff Schedules

Individual Staff Schedules can be generated for any time period specified by a start and end date. The individual schedule includes the date, start time, end time, Department, Position/Task, and any notes (time bar notes) for each time bar assigned to a staff member for each day in the schedule.

The Individual Staff Schedules can be viewed on screen, sent to a printer (individually or in a batch), or emailed (individually or in a batch) for distribution.

Exception Report

The Exception Report details those dates and times staff members cannot be scheduled as the result of requested exceptions from the schedule. Examples of common occurrences that might be considered exceptions include vacation, personal days off, doctor appointments, etc.  The exception report is useful in determining which staff are not available for a given schedule period.  If you attempt to schedule a staff member into a time slot that has been identified as an exception, a scheduling conflict message will appear.

Staff List Report

The Staff List report provides an alphabetically sorted (last name, first name) list of staff complete with contact information.  You can elect to print all staff or only those that are marked as active.

Staff Hours Report

The Staff Hours Report details and summarizes the total hours scheduled for each staff member who is scheduled in a selected time period (start and end date).  The report has options to show or hide the staff detail, show sub-totals by department, and/or show subtotals by day. The report can be printed for any selected period of time and is especially useful when checking for potential overtime scheduling in a given time period. The user also has the option to print the report for one, a selected group, or all departments

Position Hours Report

The Position Hours Report details and summarizes the total hours scheduled for each position/task scheduled for a selected time period (start and end date).  The report has options to show or hide the position/task detail, show sub-totals by department, and/or show subtotals by day. The report can be printed for any selected period of time and is especially useful when checking coverage for a position/task in a given time period. The user also has the option to print the report for one, a selected group, or all departments.

Staff Cost Report

The Staff Cost Report details the cost of time scheduled for each staff member scheduled in a selected time period.  The report also totals the cost for all staff members over that same period and presents it as a percentage of the estimated revenue (labor burden) for the day and in total for the report.
